Hypnotherapy is a tool for tapping into the subconscious mind to identify and release unwanted thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors. It enables a person to create new, positive thoughts and behaviors for forward movement and for leading a more positive affirming life.  

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Coaching

While hypnotherapy works with the subconscious mind, CBT focuses on conscious ways of learning how to make desired life changes. When hypnotherapy is paired with CBT, the speed with which a person is able to achieve their goals becomes heightened. 

CBT may be practiced anytime, anywhere, without the aid of a certified therapist. You can take advantage of these powerful tools to promote ongoing self-healing.  

Mindfulness Training

The practice of living presently in the moment, in the absence of self-judgment, is a liberating way to release anxiety and increase feelings of calmness and well-being.  When combined with hypnotherapy and CBT, you can realize the life changes that you are seeking faster and with a greater sense of ease.

Weight Loss

Weight loss is often challenging both to achieve and maintain. Being overweight often brings up feelings of self-ridicule and shame yet, ironically, the most important key to weight management is having a positive self-image, and loving and appreciating the body you have.

The more positive you feel about your body, the more inclined you become to take care of it. Making better food choices becomes much easier when you respect your body and yourself.

My weight loss program involves the use of Hypnotherapy, CBT, and Mindfulness training, all designed to create a positive self-image and powerful conscious actions and subconscious suggestions to create feelings of safety and willpower. As you progress through this program you can achieve not only weight loss but amazing, loving, and accepting new feelings about yourself and your body.

Body Image (Dysmorphia)

Many people experience body dysmorphia (accentuating and over-exaggerating perceived flaws in their bodies), which can create high rates of anxiety and low self-esteem. If left unchecked, having a poor image of one’s own body can lead to increased anxiety, depression, and even suicidal thoughts. 
If you are struggling with your body image, I will work with you to provide a positive self-image using subconscious suggestions to create feelings of warmth, appreciation, and acceptance for the body that you have. I will help you to:

  • Eliminate the blocks that are preventing you from loving your body.

  • Gain the confidence to embrace your own dynamic personal style and image preferences

  • Experience confidence in the art of “presenting” yourself to others

Self Confidence and Success

Using Hypnotherapy and guided imagery, we work together to discover your greatest desires and potentials in life and identify the blocks that have kept you from having what you want. Next, we will replace those blocks with positive pathways that will lead you to a greater sense of self-empowerment.

Career and financial success is not an accident. So much of who we are and what we succeed at is genetically determined from birth. Once we understand the biological and psychological gifts we have been given we can begin to reprogram our negative beliefs we have about ourselves both consciously and subconsciously that create resistance to creating our greatest achievements. The Mental Bank concept developed by Dr. John Kappas has proven over and over to be the fastest and most effective method to achieving success and prosperity. Combined with Hypnotherapy this 5 minute a day exercise can dramatically help you achieve your greatest goals. I have been teaching the Mental Bank Concept for many years and have witnessed profound goal achievements in those who have worked with it.

Fears and Phobias

The majority of us have fears some of which are either rational, irrational, or phobic in nature. Regardless of the type, fears can create intense levels of anxiety. Fears and phobias prevent us from living our lives fully and can add undue stress on a daily basis.

I work closely with my clients using Hypnotherapy and other tools, to help “desensitize” them to fears and phobias in order to relax and live a more fulfilling and rewarding life.

Stress is everywhere and the anxiety it causes can wreak havoc on our lives. To reduce levels of stress and anxiety it is essential to pinpoint how each person reacts in stressful situations. 

Using the combination of Hypnotherapy, CBT, and Mindfulness, I can help you get to the root of your stress triggers and help you alleviate them. You will also gain tools to overcome stress on your own as part of gaining a healthier, more relaxed, lifestyle.

Addiction and Recovery

Hypnotherapy is a powerful tool to help in the treatment of substance abuse and the underlying anxiety associated with addiction. Using Behavioral Adjustment and Mindfulness techniques I will help you to release subconscious traumas that led to your addictive behaviors and replace them with positive, life-affirming behaviors to get you and keep you on the road to recovery. 

I also work to help ease the physical and emotional withdrawal symptoms to make an easier transition into recovery. Finally, I integrate the practice of 12 Steps programs and many other recovery practices to further support and advance your addiction recovery.

Smoking Cessation

Quitting the smoking habit can be both challenging and frustrating. The tools that I use include Hypnotherapy, CBT, and Mindfulness practices, which are powerful and successful ways to finally beat the habit.

I work with my clients on a Gradual Reduction program tailored to each person’s specific needs and circumstances to make the process easier. It usually takes between 2 and 6 sessions to stop smoking for good.

Communicating with Others

People learn to communicate in many different ways according to how they were raised, educated, and by nature, how they express themselves. Communication is both verbal and nonverbal. It is what we are thinking and feeling, the words we use, the tone of our voice, our body language and movements, and even how we physically present ourselves. 

Most of us are unaware of how we impact others in the ways that we communicate and most of our communication comes from subconscious behavior. By working with your subconscious belief systems, I can help you to understand how you communicate in your personal and professional life and help you become more effective in expressing yourself with a positive and powerful impact. 

Becoming a more effective communicator, including becoming a better listener, will improve relationships in all areas of your life.

Releasing Negative Thoughts and Behaviors

It's very difficult in the fast-paced and tumultuous world we live in not to have negative thoughts and behaviors. Both the conscious and subconscious information we take in each moment of our lives dictates our attitude and behavior. Negative beliefs create patterns of negative behavior which then create distress and unhappiness mentally, emotionally, and physically.

Hypnotherapy, CBT, and Mindfulness are the greatest tools I know for releasing negative beliefs and behaviors and replacing them with positive thoughts, feelings, and actions to create a more fulfilling and successful life. I can help you get off the road of negativity and self-destructive behavior and walk the path of happiness, inner ease, and greater success in every area of your life.

Managing Change

All humans fear change at some point in their lives and most people fear it constantly. It's in our biological nature to resist change as a way of keeping ourselves safe. 

Just as our bodies constantly work to remain in homeostasis (maintaining stable internal functions) our minds constantly work to keep our emotions, relationships, and external environment stable. This often makes change very difficult and for some, paralyzing, which prevents us from moving our lives forward.

I can help you unblock fears about making change, which can hold you back from living a better life. I can also help you accept and thrive with changes that have already taken place when they continue to feel challenging or uncomfortable so that you can better embrace the opportunities and satisfaction that lay ahead.

Managing Physical Illness

Keeping our minds in a positive mental and emotional state when battling illness is one of the most important things that we can do to promote healing. Yet, remaining positive can be quite challenging when we are also experiencing painful and uncomfortable symptoms of an illness. Hypnotherapy and Mindfulness practice can help reduce and in some instances eliminate the amount of pain and discomfort we experience when our bodies are sick. Changing negative thoughts of illness into powerful beliefs of healing plays a major role in how quickly our bodies may be able to recover and heal.

Past Life Regression

Have you ever wondered about past lives? Whether or not you believe that you have lived before, your genetics carry not only your physical characteristics but your ancestral memories. How your ancestors lived and all they felt is locked into your own memories.
