Losing weight and body image


Losing weight is one of the most challenging things to do particularly when we have developed poor eating habits and poor self esteem. When we're overweight and feeling ashamed of our bodies it 's very difficult to stick to any diet. The most important part of weight management is having a positive self image and learning to love the body you have. The more positive you feel about your body , the more you will want to take care of it. Making better food choices becomes much easier when when we respect our bodies and ourselves.

My weight lose program involves Hypnotherapy designed to create a positive self image and powerful subconscious suggestions to create the will power to achieve your weight loss goals. Along with the right diet and exercise plan you can achieve not only weight loss but an amazing new feeling about your self and your body.

**It is important to note that anyone needing to lose 20 lbs. or more will need a note from a medical doctor and a referred nutritional plan as well as an exercise program.



Body Image / Personal style


Having a positive body image is one of the key elements to success in both our personal and professional lives. How we perceive ourselves is a direct reflection of how others see us. In order to attract the people we want and need in our lives we must have a positive image of ourselves physically as well as mentally. It is so important that we present ourselves as our very best version in order to attract those people and situations that will lead us to the greatest amount of success.

Many people live with body dysmorphia (where a person accentuates and over exaggerates perceived flaws on their body) which creates an enormous amount of anxiety and translates to ourselves and others as low self esteem.


Other people simply do not have the confidence in their own personal style and appearance to know what to do to change . And others have built up defense mechanisms creating excuses as to why they don't need to take control of their physical image.

Hypnotherapy is the best way I know to release negative beliefs about ourselves that prevent us from feeling confident in who we are and what we want and need to accomplish. Releasing negative beliefs and replacing them with positive one's gives us the confidence and motivation to succeed in all areas of our lives.

The majority of of us have fears which are either rational , irrational or phobic in nature which can create intense anxiety. Hypnotherapy is a powerful tool to help in the treatment of substance abuse and the underlying anxiety associated with abuse. Thru Behavioral Adjustment techniques I can help you to release the subconscious traumas that have lead to your addictions and replace them with positive , life affirming behaviors to get you and keep you on the road to recovery. I also work to help ease the physical and emotional withdrawal symptoms to make an easier transition into recovery. I work with 12 Steps programs as well as many other recovery programs.



Smoking Cessation


Quitting the smoking habit can be both challenging and frustrating. Hypnotherapy is a powerful and successful way to finally beat the habit. I work with my clients on a Gradual Reduction program tailored to their specific needs and circumstances to make the process easier and usually takes between 2 and 6 sessions to stop smoking for good.

It can be quite challenging when we are experiencing painful and uncomfortable symptoms of our illness.
